Erica Moshman
Co Founder
Erica Moshman was Co-Founder of Parable Dance, leading the organisation with Natasha between 2019 and 2021, and is a versatile dance artist, teacher, facilitator and manager specialising in community and inclusive practice. She began her professional career in New York, teaching at YDance and Evolve Dance Inc., serving as Rehearsal Director for the YDance Ensemble, and performing with Heidi Latsky Dance Company, Becky Radway Dance Projects and others. After relocating to London in 2013, Erica performed in the UK and Germany and freelanced with Magpie Dance and Create Arts, delivering inclusive workshops for people with learning disabilities, older adults, children in hospital and hospice care, and young and adult carers. She also led CPD in inclusive practice for teachers and designed Sutton College’s Springboard Dance curriculum (2016). Since returning to New York in 2021, Erica is Director of Rivertown Dance Academy, expanding inclusive dance provision, and Managing Editor of The Dancer-Citizen, an online journal exploring socially engaged dance practice. She holds a BA in Dance and Anthropology from Connecticut College and an MA in Dance Anthropology from the University of Roehampton.
