Katharine Le Roux

Associate Artist

Katharine is a freelance dance artist, teaching a variety of contemporary and creative classes across Sussex and London. She graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in 2015 with a Postgraduate Diploma in Community Dance and went on to complete a Specialist Diploma in Choreological Studies and perform with TenOverSix Dance Company. Specialising in inclusive practice, she is a facilitator for Magpie Dance and has taught for Arts Odyssey, Trinity Laban and Rounded Rhythm. Katharine has specialist training in Dance for Parkinson’s and is the founder of Create Dance Parkinson’s, Lewes and co-founder of Dance for Parkinson’s, Brighton. She is also the founder of Story Moves: Creative Dance for Early Years. She has been involved with a range of artistic projects in Sussex exploring the interface between dance, photography, film and landscape. She was awarded the Jack Petchey Leader Award in 2020.
