Nikki graduated from Greenwich University in 2011 with a BA (Hons) in Primary Education. She began volunteering with Magpie Dance in their youth sessions and completed their Inclusive Dance Professional Training course, later working as a freelance facilitator with the charity across all age groups (ages 3–70+), delivering community classes, holiday schools, education and health sector sessions, as well as performance opportunities. Nikki has since expanded her freelance work, collaborating with other inclusive dance companies, including Parable Dance and Tessellation Dance. She is the recipient of a Jack Petchey Leaders Award (2025) and YEAAUK Performing Arts Teacher of the Year (2025).
