Workshop Bookings

For schools and organisations

Parable Dance provides workshops for children, young people and adults with SEND on a project basis for schools, colleges, day centres and other organisations.

Each workshop is tailored to the needs of the group and taught with a focus on individual ability. Participants are encouraged to share creative ideas and work collaboratively, helping to build self-awareness, confidence, communication and cooperation skills. For groups with more complex needs, such as participants with PMLD, we can offer a more sensory-led dance experience, adapting pace, atmosphere and activities to ensure everyone can engage meaningfully.

We also deliver bespoke projects, including getting participants on the dance floor at inclusive discos and leading mass warm-ups at large group events, bringing dance to communities in fun and accessible ways.

Projects are led by our highly experienced inclusive dance teachers and, where possible, supported by a dance artist with a learning disability.

Workshops can be delivered as a one-off session or as a weekly series and we’re happy to discuss projects across the South East and London.

The students looked so happy and engaged in the activities. I have already had lots of feedback from a range of teachers, and they have all been so positive about the sessions!
